Full-time About the role We're a fast-moving group of lab-grown diamond and jewelry brands (DTC e-commerce, a custom ring builder, and a wholesale diamond operation). We build a lot of our own internal tooling — inventory reconciliation, data pipelines, automations, AI agents — and we want someone who can turn an idea into a working internal system in days, not months. This is an AI-native engineering role. You'll live in tools like Claude and Cursor , and you'll be expected to ship fast while keeping things clean enough that the next person (human or AI) can pick them up. If you get genuinely excited about wiring up a new connector or watching an internal tool eliminate three hours of manual work, this is for you. What you'll do Build and maintain internal AI tools and automations that the team actually uses day to day (data analysis, reporting, customer-service assists, ops workflows). Design and ship connectors and integrations across our stack — Shopify, Supabase, Vercel, Google Workspace, vendor APIs/FTP feeds, and MCP-style tool integrations. Write clear, well-structured handoff documentation in Markdown — setup steps, architecture notes, and "how to run this" guides so tools don't live in one person's head. Take loosely-defined problems and turn them into working systems, iterating quickly with AI assistance and validating that the output is actually correct. Maintain and extend existing systems (e.g., diamond data sync pipelines, internal dashboards) without breaking things. What we're looking for Hands-on fluency with AI coding tools — Claude, Cursor, or similar — and a real sense of when to trust the output and when to verify it.

Solid coding fundamentals:

comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python , REST APIs, and reading other people's code. Knowledge of best practices for building connectors and integrations — auth, rate limits, retries, error handling, secrets management. Familiarity with our kind of stack: Supabase / Postgres, Vercel serverless, GitHub, Shopify , and webhook/API-driven workflows. Strong written communication — you can produce a clean Markdown spec or handoff doc without being chased for it. A bias toward shipping. You'd rather get a rough version working and refine it than spend two weeks planning. Nice to have Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers/connectors. Background in e-commerce, data pipelines, or working with large product/inventory datasets. Comfort with prompt engineering and building AI agents (not just calling an API once).
