Biddeford, Maine & Augusta, Maine Schedule & Start Times:

Varies by dispatch location. Augusta starts at 630am Biddeford starts at 7am and 10am depending on schedule

Schedule:

4 Days a week (10-12 hours days)

Vehicle Specs:

Non CDL Straight trucks, 26000lbs and under, 28ft long with a rail gate

Pick Up/Delivery Radius:

Biddeford covers Southern Maine (Turner to Topsham -> South) Augusta covers Northern Maine (Gardiner to Old Town/Bar Harbor)

Job Summary:

The Driver & Material Mover (CDL not required) is primarily responsible for collecting customer bags from our retail locations using a combination of vehicles, primarily box trucks. You must be able to safely operate any of the vehicles we use and complete routes safely and efficiently. You will interact daily with customers and facility staff. You will be the face of and must always represent our brand with professionalism. It is imperative that all drivers are mature, trustworthy, and dependable. You must be able to handle the physical aspects of the job, loading customer bags into trucks at the stores and unloading bags back at the processing facility. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in labor intensive work and a commercial driving background.

Essential Functions:

Load and unload your vehicle independently Collect bags and load trucks efficiently to maximize capacity and minimize damage to bags Operate our trucks safely and efficiently adhering to all state laws and DOT regulations Follow daily run sheet servicing all stops, picking up allotted bag amounts at each stop Log pickup volumes at every store Conduct daily pre-trip inspections, reporting all issues to management or leasing company Report kiosk or store issues to dispatcher or help desk Follow proper lifting techniques to ensure you are working safely Keep truck in clean condition including interior cab Make sure all depots are left clean, with no returnables or broken materials in or outside the depots.

Qualifications:

Valid Class C license or Non CDL driving Experience Overall clean driving record to be insured; must maintain insurance throughout employment Reliable transportation to work prior to the start of each shift Comfortable representing in a friendly and professional manner to customers and store associates Willingness to be part of a team and help when needed

Additional Requirements:

Pre-employment screening: Must have a valid Class C or Non CDL driving Experience overall clean driving record

Position Specifications:

Reports To Director of Transportation/Dispatcher FLSA Status Non-Exempt Physical requirements: Able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Ability to push, pull, lift, twist, bend, kneel, squat, bend, and climb. You must be able to repetitively lift bags that can weigh up to 60lbs.

Location:

Position will be working primarily out of our depots and processing facilities.

$23.00 - $24.50 per hour
