Non Emergency Medical Taxi Driver

Job Overview We are seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional drivers to join our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation team. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting clients to and from medical appointments, dialysis treatments, hospital discharges, rehabilitation facilities, and other healthcare-related destinations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, values reliability, and can provide excellent customer service to elderly and disabled passengers. Responsibilities Safely transport clients to scheduled medical appointments and other approved destinations Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle when needed Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices properly Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance Follow assigned schedules and routes efficiently Communicate professionally with dispatchers, healthcare facilities, and passengers Complete required trip documentation and logs Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures Ensure passengers are treated with dignity, patience, and respect Qualifications Valid driver's license with clean driving record Must pass background check and drug screening Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs Good communication and customer service skills Ability to operate wheelchair-accessible vans preferred (training available if needed) CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required Preferred Traits Compassionate and patient demeanor Strong sense of responsibility and safety Comfortable working independently Experience in transportation, caregiving, EMS, healthcare, or customer service is a plus Benefits Flexible scheduling Paid training Supportive work environment Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community Company vehicle provided during shifts Schedule Monday-Friday Some weekends or after-hours trips may be available Apply Today If you are dependable, caring, and enjoy helping people, we would love to hear from you.
