In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional in-home care assisting seniors and individuals with disabilities to live comfortably and safely. Duties Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Support clients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts, ensuring safety at all times Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and team members Requirements Prior experience in home care, skilled nursing facility, or group homes is highly preferred Must have a TB Test Must have experience using the Hoyer lift Experience with G-tube Experience with Laryngectomy tube Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia (including Alzheimer's disease), or memory care is desirable Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others Must be available to work Weekends•Join us at Always Best Care Senior Services where your dedication transforms lives.
