Part-time, flexible daytime hours based on clinic and school site needs
Start:
ASAP, pending credentialing and clearances
Compensation:
$80 Required Qualifications Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New Mexico (active, unrestricted, no sanctions) National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner Active DEA certification if prescribing controlled medications Experience in primary care, family practice, or school-based health preferred Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred Knowledge of preventive care, health education, and chronic disease management Ability to independently diagnose, treat, and prescribe within NP scope of practice Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including mental health providers Must complete credentialing, background screening, and required clearances prior to start Provide current resume and references Compliance with all applicable state and regulatory requirements Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to students, families, and school staff (in-person and via telehealth) Perform history and physical exams, assessments, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans Prescribe medications per clinical guidelines and state regulations Manage minor acute injuries and common illnesses Provide preventive care, health education, counseling, and disease management Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and lab results Manage clinic pharmacy functions and support laboratory services in compliance with policies and CLIA requirements Collaborate with mental health and other interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic health record Travel between school districts and clinic sites as required Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Perform duties consistent with permanent staff and complete additional assignments as needed Application Requirements Submit current resume and references Complete all credentialing and background checks prior to start
