34 per hour, based on experienceSign-on bonus: $10,000Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a respected healthcare team in Brunswick, GA. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced imaging professional who wants a stable day-shift schedule, no weekends, and the ability to work in a collaborative hospital environment.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and confident performing nuclear medicine procedures while maintaining high standards for safety, image quality, and patient care.

ScheduleDay shift with rotating start times: 6:00 AM
  • 3:30 PM7:00 AM
  • 3:30 PM7:45 AM
  • 4:00 PMAdditional schedule details: No weekendsNo weekly callHoliday call only, shared between all staffKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to safety and regulatory guidelines.
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using appropriate equipment and protocols.

Position patients properly to capture high-quality diagnostic images.

Explain procedures, obtain patient history, and help patients feel comfortable throughout the exam.

Monitor radiation exposure and follow radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and self.

Process and enhance images for radiologist interpretation.

Perform quality control checks and assist with equipment calibration and maintenance.

Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance with department policies and regulatory standards.

Work closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other imaging team members to support efficient patient care.

QualificationsNuclear Medicine Technology certification required or eligible, based on facility requirements.

Previous nuclear medicine experience preferred.

Strong understanding of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and patient care standards.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment.

Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Commitment to quality, safety, and excellent patient experience.
