Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a key role supporting patient care as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, where your imaging expertise will contribute to clinical excellence in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity focuses on executing Nuclear Medicine procedures that deliver high-quality imaging results aligned with physician directives.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position (schedule details provided during the interview process)
Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program Current certification by ARRT(N) or NMTCB State licensure, as required Thorough understanding of Nuclear Medicine imaging protocols and safety measures Experience administering radioisotopes under Radiologist supervision Strong patient communication and education skills Proven ability to manage multiple examinations and deadlines with accuracy
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort Operate and maintain all relevant imaging equipment to obtain quality images Accurately follow provider imaging orders and protocols Prepare, administer, and document radioisotope use per regulatory guidelines Transfer and position patients for imaging in a safe, compassionate manner Uphold sterile technique and infection control policies at all times Communicate effectively with patients, Radiologists, and colleagues to coordinate workflow and support quality care Submit images and data for Radiologist interpretation Track use and disposal of materials following all safety, state, and federal regulations This is an excellent opportunity to apply your Nuclear Medicine skills in a supportive, professional setting, advancing both your technical and patient care expertise.
