Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation are consistently top-notch Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dish ideas and modifications to enhance customer satisfaction Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment Use knife skills proficiently to chop, slice, dice, and portion ingredients efficiently Support food preparation tasks such as marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients for various dishes Maintain a clean workstation by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours and support catering or special event needs as required Skills Proven experience in food handling, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience preferred Excellent knife skills and meal preparation techniques that ensure efficiency and safety in the kitchen Familiarity with menu planning, food safety standards, and proper food industry procedures Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve guests professionally Enthusiasm for culinary arts with a willingness to learn new techniques and contribute ideas for menu development Embark on a flavorful journey with us!
