This position requires a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist ready to work collaboratively and independently, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services for patients and clinicians. Schedule 9-hour day shifts, Sunday through Wednesday Total of 36 hours weekly Key Qualifications Current certification and registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Demonstrated competency in imaging procedures utilizing nuclear medicine technology Strong understanding of safety protocols concerning radiopharmaceuticals Excellent communication and organizational abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Position Responsibilities Perform a broad range of nuclear medicine scans as ordered by physicians, adhering to established clinical standards Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients safely and responsibly Provide thorough explanations of procedures, addressing patient questions and concerns Monitor patients during scans, ensuring their comfort and safety Maintain accurate records, complete documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret and communicate imaging results efficiently Remain available for call back coverage on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00pm Cover holiday shifts if the schedule falls on a holiday Additional Details No weekend rotation required No floating assignments This contract opportunity offers a chance to further your career in a supportive environment with modern technology and professional growth potential.
