Qualifications and Experience:

Active RN license with good standing Minimum of one year of recent experience in OB and/or OBGYN nursing Proficiency in fetal monitoring, labor & delivery, antepartum, postpartum, and newborn care BLS and NRP certifications required Strong patient education and communication skills Ability to quickly adapt to fast-paced environments Collaborative mindset for working alongside physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams

Schedule and Hours:

Contract-based assignment Flexible shifts may be available to meet department needs

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care for women during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods Conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, and document patient progress Monitor mother and infant status, intervening as needed in emergency situations Assist with labor and delivery procedures Administer medications and treatments per protocol Offer emotional support and education to patients and families Maintain accurate EMR records and contribute to quality improvement efforts
