Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract This opportunity requires expertise in nuclear medicine imaging and proficiency as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The selected candidate will provide vital diagnostic imaging services, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care on a contract basis.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Rotating weekend call coverage
Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology Active certification by ARRT (N) or NMTCB State licensure as required Previous experience in hospital or clinical nuclear medicine imaging preferred Knowledge of imaging equipment operation and quality assurance standards Excellent communication, organizational, and patient-care skills Ability to function independently and respond calmly in urgent situations
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort Properly prepare and administer radioactive pharmaceuticals as required Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols Accurately process images and deliver them for physician review Document all procedures and patient interactions in the medical record system Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate diagnostic images Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and quality improvement initiatives Participate in rotating weekend call as scheduled This is an excellent fit for nuclear medicine technologists looking to contribute in a dynamic and supportive clinical environment.
