Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse to join our compassionate healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical experience across various medical settings. As a Nurse at Greenfield Retirement Home, you will deliver high-quality patient care, perform comprehensive assessments, and ensure the safety and well-being of our residents through expert nursing practices. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments. Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for precise medical records management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans that meet the diverse needs of residents. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to patient care, safety protocols, and confidentiality. Qualifications Valid Illinois nursing license. BLS cert required. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and patient assessment techniques. Strong knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation practices. PointClick care experience preferred. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards. Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to work effectively within a team environment.
