Nurse Injector Job Description Position Summary:
The Nurse Injector at Serenity Medical Spa is a licensed medical professional with specialized training in cosmetic injectables. This role focuses on delivering advanced aesthetic treatments such as neuromodulators (e.g., Botox, Xeomin) and dermal fillers with an emphasis on safety, precision, and natural-looking results. The Nurse Injector is an essential part of the client experience and contributes to treatment planning, education, and long-term aesthetic outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth aesthetic consultations to assess facial anatomy and understand client goals.
- Develop customized treatment plans aligned with client desires and medical appropriateness.
- Safely administer injectable treatments, including: Neuromodulators (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, etc.) Dermal Fillers (Juvederm, RHA Collection, Restylane, etc.) Biostimulants (Sculptra, Radiesse) Kybella or other fat-dissolving agents
- Educate clients on procedures, expectations, risks, and aftercare.
- Maintain a sterile and safe treatment environment at all times.
- Document all treatments, consents, and progress notes accurately in the EMR system.
- Monitor clients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate follow-up care.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, new products, and technique developments.
- Support marketing and promotional events as needed.
- Collaborate with the spa team to maintain a warm, welcoming, and professional client experience.
Required Qualifications:
Active RN, NP, or PA license in good standing in Missouri. Certification and training in aesthetic injectables. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with cosmetic injections. Strong understanding of facial anatomy and aging processes. High attention to detail and commitment to natural-looking aesthetic outcomes. Excellent communication and bedside manner. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with advanced injection techniques and facial balancing. Prior work in a medical spa or dermatology setting. Familiarity with skincare brands and retail recommendations. Proficiency in EMR documentation and photography standards.
