The Nurse Manager of Operating Room Surgical Services will report to the Director of Perioperative Services while collaborating closely with the Chief Nursing Officer, anesthesia leadership, and surgical chiefs to drive evidence-based, patient-centered care. The Nurse Manager of Operating Room Perioperative Services will be supported by engaged assistant nurse managers and charge RNs, a clinical nurse educator, an experienced sterile processing team, materials management, IT, and data analytics resources. The Nurse Manager of Operating Room Surgery will lead daily operations across Pre-Op, OR, and PACU; steward budgets and productivity; optimize block utilization and surgeon relations; advance infection prevention and regulatory readiness (AORN standards, CMS, and The Joint Commission); and champion recruitment, retention, education, and a just culture among friendly nurses and a diverse interprofessional team. The Nurse Manager of Operating Room Surgical Services is an RN with a BSN (MSN/MHA preferred), with CNOR or nurse executive certification valued and progressive perioperative leadership experience that inspires collaboration and results.
