The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for: Providing clinical expertise including face to face visit encounters with the patient. Working with the Medical Director and collaborating with other physicians and non-physician providers as applicable for the purpose of coordination of care to effectively meet the medical, psychological and spiritual needs of the patient. Providing expertise in a consultative role to patients with advanced disease requiring palliative services. Providing physical back up and coverage responsibilities where appropriate including writing prescriptions. Shares Hospice on-call responsibilities with Medical Director Performs other duties as assigned by the Medical Director and Clinical Director Assisting in the development and review of clinical protocols, policies and processes that support appropriate referrals and care We offer a great compensation package, including mileage reimbursement.
