Job Description

Vision Quest Solutions is seeking experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) and/or Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) to support IHS (Indian Health Services) in Pinon, Arizona. This opportunity allows providers to make a meaningful impact in an underserved community while practicing broad-scope primary and acute care medicine in a collaborative clinical environment. Position OverviewThe provider will deliver comprehensive patient-centered care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations in an outpatient and walk-in clinic setting. Providers may also support teen clinics, community outreach, and acute care services based on facility needs. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning Provide primary and urgent care services across the lifespan Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state and federal guidelines Educate patients and families on preventive care and chronic disease management Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records documentation Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Minimum Qualifications Current, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or APRN license National board certification Minimum of two (2) years of recent in-person clinical experience Current DEA registration Current BLS and CPR certification required ACLS and PALS preferred or required depending on assignment Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare setting Experience in outpatient, ambulatory, urgent care, or community health Preferred Experience Indian Health Service, tribal health, rural health, or underserved community experience Pediatric and family practice experience Experience using electronic health records (EHR/EMR)
