Caring Heart Medical Center is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing family medicine and urgent care practice in Hillsville, Virginia — nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Highlands, minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and an easy drive from Galax, Wytheville, and the New River Valley. What We're Looking For Current, valid Virginia license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Board certification (AANP/ANCC for NPs; NCCPA for PAs) Valid DEA registration (or eligible to obtain upon hire) Experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine preferred — but we're willing to invest in the right motivated candidate Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced clinic setting while collaborating closely with our lead provider Proficient with EHR documentation and clinical workflows Strong clinical skills including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions, minor office procedures (e.g. suturing, I&D, splinting, wound care), and patient education Must pass a background check and drug screening Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must adhere to all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and Virginia scope-of-practice laws Application Question(s): Do you hold a current, valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Virginia?
