Job Description

Job Purpose As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nurse Assistant (NA), you will assist the pediatric patient care team by performing activities of daily living such as feeding meals, bathing, monitoring vital signs and donning/doffing splints and orthotic devices. All CNAs and NAs perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and core values of excellence, integrity, compassion, service and stewardship.
Responsibilities :
Performs direct care to patients by performing activities of daily living as needed Chart patient care in electronic health record as indicated: input, output, vital signs, condition, etc. Communicate effectively with co-workers to ensure the patient care needs are met with excellence
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
No previous experience required
License/Certification/Credential:
Optional•Current certification as Certified Nurse Aide in Oklahoma or in another state in good standing with the expectation that license will be assigned in Oklahoma CPR Certification may be obtained upon hire
Base Pay & Shift Differentials:
Certified Nurse Assistant / Nurse Assistant (CNA/NA) starting hourly rate begins at $15.53 per hour and goes up based on certification, education, and experience. Bethany Children's Health Center also offers shift differentials for working evening, nights or weekend hours. If you were to work those time frames, that amount would be added to your hourly base rate each hour.

+$6.00/hour About Us Our work begins where we are all equal•at the heart. Bethany Children's Health Center is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services for children (ages 0-21) and is the only inpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility in Oklahoma. Our CARF accredited multidisciplinary team works with patients and their families to maximize the patient's physical and cognitive potential, and ensure the family has the training and resources needed for a smooth transition from hospital to home. In 2021, the hospital received accreditation from The Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), the nation's original independent accreditation program recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This statute allows Bethany Children's Health Center to refuse to hire an applicant or discharge an employee in a safety-sensitive position, who tests positive for marijuana even if the applicant or employee holds a valid Oklahoma medical marijuana license.
