What you'll do The Senior Major Giving Officer manages a portfolio of donors and prospects with the capacity to contribute $10,000 or more annually. This role is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding high-net-worth individuals through consistent personal engagement, with a strong focus on in person meetings and cultivation events. The Senior Major Giving Officer will secure revenue through multiple giving channels, including cash, pledges, gifts of stock, and planned gifts. Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of current and prospective major donors capable of giving $10,000 or more annually. Manage donor and prospect activity, independently and collaboratively with network colleagues, to advance relationships and secure philanthropic support. Maintain accurate records and track engagement activities in Salesforce CRM. Utilize wealth screening information, other research, and networks of existing donors, board members, community leaders and leadership to identify prospective major donors. Provide quarterly revenue projections and forecasting for the portfolio. Develop highly personalized proposals, stewardship reports, and donor communications that align with the donor's interests and demonstrate impact and gratitude. Manage an effective moves management system to ensure timely identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for all major gift donors. Represent the organization at fundraising events and donor meetings, including travel as required. Demonstrate a commitment to Bassett's mission and involvement in the life of the communities it serves. Primary responsibility for gifts of estates, trusts, and various other and financial venues that reflect financial planning and deferred giving opportunities. Responsible for training and supporting other staff members working with donors on deferred and planned gifts such as trusts, charitable annuities, life insurance, wills, and bequests. Education:
2 Year / Associate Degree. Experience may be considered in lieu of education, preferred 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Identification, acquisition, solicitation, and stewardship of annual/major gifts. Experience in healthcare a plus.

USD $148,348.80/Yr.
