DESCRIPTION We are seeking powerhouse vocalists to join our uing cabaret series called POWERHOUSE, a project that celebrates iconic female artists who have shaped generations of music. We are currently casting for our next two shows:

POWERHOUSE

The Icons (80s/90s) and

POWERHOUSE

The Evolution (00s/10s). We are looking to cast BIPOC women and femme-presenting performers, and encourage vocalists who are specifically inspired by the power and legacy of these artists. You can expect to have a solo number and be a part of 1-2 other ensemble numbers (duets, trios, BGV, etc.)

POWERHOUSE

The Icons (80s/90s) will be on June 18th at 9:30pm at 54 Below

POWERHOUSE

The Evolution (00s/10s) will be on July 25th at 9:30pm at The Green Room 42 Performers must:

• Have strong vocal ability (pop/soul/gospel/jazz influences wee!)
• Befortable learning harmonies
• Be open to a collaborative approach that ensures the piece feels true to both you and the original artist
• Be available for 1-2 rehearsals between 6/3-6/8 (The Icons) and 7/8-7/13 (The Evolution)

To Submit:

Please submit a headshot and resume, as well as a performance reel or 1-2 vocal clips showcasing your range and style. We're happy to accept a past performance, vocal reel, or self tape, but we encourage you to keep the series' pop/R&B/rock-driven material in mind when selecting your submission material! We are actively looking for performers to cover the vocal styles of these artists: Whitney Houston, Céline Dion, Mariah Carey, Selena, Tina Turner, Lauryn Hill, Brandy & Monica, Bonnie Tyler, Pat Benatar Amy Winehouse, Adele, Demi Lovato, Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Paramore, Tori Kelly, Brandi Carlile, Jazmine Sullivan, JoJo, Natasha Bedingfield, Kesha, Jordin Sparks Performers will receive high-quality videos of their performances.
