Duties Help Serves as a Program Manager with responsibility for coordining the various operional requirements and functions associed with the Army West Point Athletic Department, USMA, and Garrison. Serves as a key advisor and consultant to the Army Athletic Associion Director on mters relive to the various complex and intrice programs and specific mission requirements. Provides technical, managerial direction, guidance, and assistance to functional managers and staff to assist in fulfilling his/her responsibilities. Keeps abreast of new policies, procedures, regulions, directives, etc.; develops and recommends the framework for program-wide policies, programs, controls, and/or systems designed to increase the efficiency and economy of functions and operions. Maintains liaison with USCC, other USMA and West Point Directores and Departments, higher headquarters, other commands, other government agencies, and installions, to provide required support to Army Athletic Associion reled issues. Experience the garrison or regional level th reflects a comprehensive knowledge of the financial and business principles, policies, practices and detailed procedures applicable to appropried and non-appropried funding and resourcing in order to perform tasks, integre, balance, coordine and monitor program efforts and support command objectives. 3. Skilled in both written and oral communicion. 4. Possess proven management and leadership ability. 5. Comprehensive knowledge and aptitude for automed systems and standard computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office applicions, to include spreadsheet, dabase, word processing, resource management, commercial off the shelf accounting package and electronic communicion packages.
