Job Summary This is a volunteer role. We are seeking an enthusiastic Soccer Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone looking to break into the industry, or looking to give back to the community. We will mentor and design session plans that you can execute, so you're not on your own. We provide financial support for you to take the USSF Grassroots certification. This role involves coaching players of various skill levels, and fostering a positive training environment. The Soccer Coach will work closely with players to enhance their skills, promote teamwork, and encourage a love for the game. The coach will also engage parents to get involved to identify and develop volunteers. Responsibilities Implement training sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation from all team members. Create a physically and emotionally safe environment for the players. Help setup and breakdown equipment before and after sessions. Skills Previous experience in sports coaching. A background in soccer. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with players of varying ages. Experience working with kids in a childcare or educational setting. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster a positive learning environment. Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
