Newport, NH; Onsite - School SettingJOB RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS
1. Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations using standardized and functional assessments. to determine eligibility and need for occupational therapy services. 2. Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives in collaboration with the IEP team. 3. Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services as outlined in students' IEPs. 4. Develop Response to Intervention (RTI) plans and provide services as outlined in plans. 5. Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory regulation, visual-motor integration, self-care, and organizational skills. 6. Adapt and modify the learning environment and educational materials to support student access and participation. 7. Provide training, resources, and consultation to teachers, paraprofessionals, and families. 8. Maintain accurate documentation including evaluation reports, progress notes, service logs, and Medicaid billing records (if applicable). 9. Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and other collaborative planning efforts. 10. Provide supervision for COTAs as needed. 11. Comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education and therapy services. 12. Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and professional licensure requirements. 13. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Designee. Schedule /Shift:

School Year Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New Hampshire.
- Experience working with children in educational settings is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and relevant educational laws and procedures Benefits
