Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based Occupational Therapy role supporting K-12 students full time for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity runs from August 19, 2026, through June 7, 2027, offering 37.5 hours each week. Qualifications Sought:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families School-based OT experience is a plus, but all backgrounds considered Ability to manage a diverse caseload of K-12 studentsResponsibilities Include:
Delivering direct occupational therapy services to students as per IEPs Conducting assessments and participation in eligibility and team meetings Developing tailored treatment plans and measurable goals for each student Supporting inclusion, modification, and accommodations within the classroom Consulting and collaborating with teachers, school staff, and parents/guardians Keeping up-to-date documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participating actively in professional development and ongoing training Bring your dedication and expertise to this school community and enjoy weekly pay with a competitive hourly range of $40-58.
