Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated Night Pharmacist to support the pediatric pharmacy team on a 7-on, 7-off night schedule. This role focuses on delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

Manage and verify medication orders for pediatric patients, ensuring accuracy and safety. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care. Utilize hospital systems such as EPIC and Omnicell to maintain accurate medication records. Provide weight-based dosing calculations for pediatric patients. Monitor inventory and restock medications as needed during night shifts. Assist in responding to medication-related emergencies or inquiries during night hours.

Qualifications:

Valid Illinois Pharmacist license. Proven hospital pharmacy experience. Previous pediatric pharmacy experience and comfort with weight-based pediatric dosing. Familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell systems is preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently during night shifts. This is a contract position with an immediate start date and a duration of approximately 13 weeks or longer as needed.
