Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Experience a rewarding contract opportunity serving students for the full school year in a supportive educational environment. This full-time role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech-language pathology services.
Two positions are available:
one at the elementary level and a second in a similar school setting, allowing you to tailor your expertise to the needs of different age groups.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) State licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology Background in pediatric SLP, especially in school-based settings Previous experience with teletherapy platforms Solid understanding of assessment tools, IEP development, and implementing therapy goals Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Organizational skills to balance caseload and documentation requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students individually and in groups, both onsite and via teletherapy as needed Assess and identify students' speech, language, and communication needs through standardized testing and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Develop, implement, and regularly review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate records of student progress and document interventions in compliance with school and state requirements Communicate and consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student outcomes Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students If you are committed to making a difference in children's lives and thrive in an engaging school community, this full-time contract is an excellent fit.
