Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful opportunity to make a positive difference as an Occupational Therapist within a welcoming school community west of Atlanta. This full-time contract position spans the 2026-27 academic year and focuses on helping students achieve their highest potential by delivering expert therapy services. Your expertise in supporting young learners will have a lasting impact, as you collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to foster growth and success. Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist in Georgia Experience working in educational settings is highly preferred Strong understanding of IEPs and relevant school documentation Ability to assess student needs and implement effective intervention plans Excellent communication skills with students, guardians, and school personnel Commitment to supporting children with varying abilities and backgrounds
Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations as needed Collaborate with educational professionals to support classroom participation and functional skills Develop and monitor individualized intervention plans and document progress Assist in adapting school environments and materials to facilitate student access Offer guidance and resources for teachers and families to support therapy goals Perks of this
