Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make an impact in students' lives as a contract Occupational Therapist in a K-12 setting near Rochester, MI! This opportunity is ideal for dedicated professionals interested in supporting learners across a school district. Two full-time positions are available with a schedule anticipated to run from August 17, 2026, through June 11, 2027. You'll work with a varied caseload, collaborating with educators and families to help students reach their fullest potential.
What We're Looking For:
Current, active Michigan OT license—please submit a screenshot with your application Experience working in school-based settings; proficiency supporting K-12 students preferred Skilled in assessments, intervention planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to evidence-based practice and individualized care Strong communication and documentation skills Reliable and proactive in managing a full-time, 35-hour weekly caseload
Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans for K-12 students Collaborate with educators, other therapists, and families to foster student growth Conduct evaluations and ongoing assessments to track student progress Deliver direct and consultative OT services, ensuring integration into classroom routines Document services provided following regulatory and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans This contract position provides a valuable opportunity to serve a diverse group of students and expand your school-based OT experience within a welcoming educational environment.
