Travel-based assignment, flexible scheduling options available.Key Responsibilities:
Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging. Review clinical data and assess medical histories to tailor diagnostic exams appropriately. Prepare rooms and ensure adequate stock of linens and supplies. Operate and control CT scanning equipment, optimizing image quality. Administer IV contrast media and monitor for reactions, providing immediate care if needed. Assist radiologists with complex, sterile diagnostic procedures, such as biopsies. Adhere to strict radiation safety standards, utilizing ALARA principles. Process and upload high-quality images into PACS, resolve any exceptions, and ensure thorough clinical documentation within radiology information systems. Foster an environment of open communication, respect, and innovation within the healthcare team.Desired Qualifications:
Certification and registry as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required. Experience in CT procedures and general radiography preferred. Proficiency with PACS and RIS systems. Excellent communication and patient care skills.Benefits & Perks:
