Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity focused on supporting elementary-aged students through crucial stages of development. Candidates adept in school-based speech-language pathology (SLP) will find fulfillment in shaping young lives. Both SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY applicants are encouraged to apply, as we welcome professionals with varied backgrounds in speech-language pathology, particularly those passionate about pediatrics and healthcare within educational settings.
Key Qualifications:
Holds or is eligible for SLP-CCC or is completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Strong background in pediatric SLP, especially in school environments Skilled at developing, implementing, and tracking individualized education plans (IEPs) Effective communicator with students, staff, and families Knowledgeable in current best practices for assessment and treatment in a school setting Committed to supporting diverse learners and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
What This Role Involves:
Serve an elementary school population for the 2026-27 school year Manage a caseload of approximately 45-50 students Perform screenings and diagnostic evaluations Develop and execute therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with teaching staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation Support families with strategies and resources for continued growth outside of sessions
