Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' growth and success in the Yelm, WA area for the 2026-2027 academic year! This full-time (37.5 hours/week) onsite position serves students from PreK through 5th grade, with a manageable caseload of approximately 50-55 individuals. Make a valuable impact through direct, in-person occupational therapy services as you collaborate with educational staff and families to help young learners reach their fullest potential.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Active Washington OT license, or willingness to obtain prior to the assignment Must be fingerprinted through OSPI or open to completing this requirement Experience or strong interest in serving PreK-5th grade students School-based occupational therapy background highly preferred Effective communication and organizational skills Compassion, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit Ability and commitment to onsite work; virtual options are not availableKey Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in students' IEPs Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress Consult with educators, administrators, and caregivers to ensure successful interventions Guide and educate school staff on strategies and accommodations for student needs Maintain up-to-date records in accordance with school district and state guidelines Support a diverse group of learners in achieving academic and developmental milestonesBenefits & Perks:
