Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills in a Long Term Acute Care Hospital setting in Bowling Green, KY. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Kentucky Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience in an acute care or long-term acute care (LTACH) environment preferred. Experience assessing functional level, developing individualized treatment plans, and documenting according to facility policy required. Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and/or OT students preferred. Demonstrated competency with safe patient handling techniques and clinical equipment used in acute and LTACH settings preferred.
