Private pediatric outpatient therapy clinic - providing a team approach to therapy
OT, PT, ST
We have unique programs include
HIPPO THERAPY
(therapy on HORSEBACK- using equine movement as a therapy tool), a full kitchen and cooking program, a large outdoor space with large play structure, nature and garden programs. New to pediatrics? or horses?

Opportunity to work with horses using hippo therapy as a tool for therapy. Work in a unique and fun setting providing therapy to children birth to 18 with a variety of needs. Looking for enthusiastic pediatric therapists who are passionate about providing quality treatment and ready to join our pediatric team of OT, PT and ST therapists. We have an amazing work environment, located on 2 park like acres. Treatment may be provided in one of our therapy rooms or our outdoor environment. Hippotherapy (therapy on horseback) is also a tool available for some clients. Looking forward to using your strengths and creativity to enhance our treatment programs. Full time or Part-time hours with a flexible schedule. Summary As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will support occupational therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions that incorporate horses to enhance patient treatment plans. Join our dedicated team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve through innovative therapy practices. Responsibilities Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans Monitor patient progress in collaboration with occupational therapists. Educate clients and their families on occupational therapy goals Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and improvements. Qualifications Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential Experience working with horses and equine therapy (preferred, will train) Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology Ability to implement care plans for the pediatric population (will train) Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient care in various settings Experience in outpatient environment (preferred)

$30.00 - $38.00 per hour
