Bachelors Degree Preferred Minimum 2 years Experience Teaching Preschool Preschool/childcare program located in Gresham is hiring Full Time Preschool Teacher. We are a State Certified Home that partners with Multnomah County's Preschool For All program for the 24/25 school year. Hours are set at 8:00am-4:30pm Must be available for all hours Monday-Friday. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing behavior management techniques to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere. Teach physical education activities that promote physical health and well-being among preschoolers. Provide individualized tutoring to support children's unique learning needs and ensure academic progress. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any concerns regarding their development. Organize classroom activities that incorporate various subjects, including math, to enhance children's understanding of foundational concepts. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Experience Previous experience in childcare or as a preschool teacher is preferred. Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for early childhood education is advantageous. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of childhood development principles to support age-appropriate learning strategies. Experience in private school settings is a plus but not required.
