Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role is essential in guiding preschool-aged children through their early learning experiences, ensuring they develop foundational skills in a supportive atmosphere. Bachelors Degree Preferred Minimum 2 years Experience Teaching Preschool Preschool/childcare program located in Gresham is hiring Full Time Preschool Teacher. We are a State Certified Home that partners with Multnomah County's Preschool For All program for the 24/25 school year. Hours are set at 8:00am-4:30pm Must be available for all hours Monday-Friday. We are looking for an experienced teacher that enjoys working with children. Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education
REQUIRED
Step 9 in ORO(Or able to submit step request with required trainings)
MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE TEACHING PRESCHOOL
Experience writing curriculum Experienced in ECE. Dependable Can bend, crouch and sit on the floor with children. Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing behavior management techniques to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere. Teach physical education activities that promote physical health and well-being among preschoolers. Provide individualized tutoring to support children's unique learning needs and ensure academic progress. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any concerns regarding their development. Organize classroom activities that incorporate various subjects, including math, to enhance children's understanding of foundational concepts. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Experience Previous experience in childcare or as a preschool teacher is preferred. Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for early childhood education is advantageous. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of childhood development principles to support age-appropriate learning strategies. Experience in private school settings is a plus but not required.
