OFF ROAD MECHANIC

Overview We are seeking a skilled Off Road Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge base and experience in vehicle maintenance and diagnostics. This role involves working with various types of machinery, including farm equipment and heavy machinery, ensuring they are assembled, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards. The Mechanic will play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and heavy equipment. Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Assemble and disassemble machinery components as needed. Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively during repair processes. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours. Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for equipment repair and maintenance. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop or field environments. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and automotive diagnostics. Familiarity with OEM standards for machinery and equipment. Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely (up to 50 pounds). Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
