Job Description
We are a small, successful manufacturer based in Jacksonville, FL since 1962. We are looking for team players who are creative, organized, and have excellent administrative/customer service skills to join in our growing success. Skills Administrators require good organizational skills to coordinate all aspects of sales administration. They must be able to work accurately with great attention to detail so that they process orders quickly and efficiently. They must also be good communicators, working with other departments that are responsible for fulfilling orders and providing service to customers. They must be able to generate shipping labels and ensure timely packaging of product for shipping deadlines. Administrators require good clerical skills, together with computing and data entry skills. They must have at least a high school diploma with qualifications in office, computer and grammar skills. Administration Administrators are responsible for processing orders by telephone, email or fax. They check orders to include the correct prices, discounts, and product numbers and enter them into the company's computer system. They send confirmation to customers and contact them to check any details that may be wrong or to obtain missing information. To maintain the momentum of delivery, administrators communicate with manufacturing and logistics departments to agree on delivery dates and deal with the technical department to resolve any product or technical queries. Administrators maintain sales records and update customer records. They provide information on sales by product line or territory that sales managers use to prepare reports and monitor performance. In addition, administrators must be able to track inventory levels and generate purchase orders to ensure smooth production and communicate with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time. Support Administrators take on a variety of tasks to support sales. They handle incoming calls and correspondence, alerting management to any urgent issues. They update reps on order status and delivery details so they can keep customers informed, and supply any presentation or product information to customers as needed.
