Job Description

Haas Sons, Inc. is seeking a full time seasonal Office Assistant in our Thorp Office. This is a full time position April - November.

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:
The Office Assistant provides general office support, performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. This position will serve as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and employees, and provides customers with product and service information.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls promptly and accurately Greets and directs customers, visitors, and employees in a friendly and professional manner Handles customer service tasks, including providing product and service information to customers Takes various aggregate orders and complete corresponding work orders Enters and manages job tickets, including reviewing invoices and tracking totals Assist with aggregate invoicing and reconciling customers products versus tickets Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information, including but not limited to, company, customer, and employee information Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services. Assist all divisions with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records, involving invoices, purchase orders, and other business documents Help process payments, receipts, and other financial transactions as needed Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the needs of the organization
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Experience:
Previous experience in customer service-related job duties. Experience in the construction or aggregate industry is a plus.• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office software Strong communication skills both written and verbal Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong phone handling skills and active listening skills
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
