OFFICE CLERK

- Full time Performs any combination of following and similar clerical duties requiring limited knowledge of systems or procedures: Writes, types, or enters information into computer, using keyboard, to prepare correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, checks, or other documents, copying information from one record to another. Proofreads records or forms. Counts, weighs, or measures material. Sorts and files records. Addresses envelopes or packages. Addresses envelopes or packages. Stuffs envelopes by hand. Answers telephone, conveys messages, and runs errands. Stamps, sorts, and distributes mail. Stamps or numbers forms by hand or machine. Ability to work with excel and update or modify files when needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time. Must have working knowledge of PC functions. Must be able to type or do key punch entry for moderate periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry items of up to 30 pounds. Must be able to bend, stand, reach at different levels, and climb stairs. This is moderate work requiring good corrected vision, hearing, repetitive hand/wrist movement, sitting, bending, standing, reaching, lifting, simple grasping, and the ability to work under these conditions every day.
