Mauston, Wisconsin (In‑Office)
Position Type:
Full‑Time About the Position We are seeking an organized, dependable Office Manager/Bookkeeper to oversee daily operations of our law firm. This position plays a key role in keeping the office running smoothly, supporting attorneys and staff, and ensuring consistent processes. Over time, and with appropriate training, the Office Manager/Bookkeeper may also assist with preparing certain legal documents, depending on workload and interest. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily office operations and administrative workflows Maintain office records Communicate with vendors and service providers Manage office bookkeeping and procedures Work with staff to improve efficiency and procedures Assist with document preparation once trained (as time allows) Qualifications Prior office management or administrative leadership experience preferred Strong organization, communication, and problem‑solving skills Ability to take initiative and manage competing priorities Comfort working in a professional, confidential environment Experience in a legal office is helpful but not required What We Offer Stable, long‑term position in a growing firm Meaningful role with responsibility and autonomy Training and support Competitive compensation based on experience Positive, team‑oriented work environment 401k retirement plan with generous employer contributions Health insurance Paid vacation, expanding with length of service Paid sick leave
