Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office management and administrative support, with a strong background in accounting. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Office Manager will be responsible for supporting ownership, bookkeeping, AP, AR, and weekly payroll. Also must support our CPA to get our taxes filed efficiently. Duties Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow. Manage schedules, including calendar management for team members and executives. Coordinate event planning for company meetings, training sessions, and other gatherings. Supervise and train administrative staff, fostering a collaborative work environment. Handle vendor management, including checking invoices and maintaining relationships with suppliers. Work inside the construction industry is a plus. Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records. Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate bookkeeping practices are followed. Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents. Provide clerical support including answering multi-line phone systems, managing correspondence, and front desk duties. Skills Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in QuickBooks and other bookkeeping software is required. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Familiarity with training & development practices for staff improvement. Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial reporting. Proficient in calendar management and scheduling tools. Demonstrated phone etiquette with strong interpersonal skills.
