Hello, Thank you for your interest in caring for my mother. She is 96 years old, walks with a walker, and is under 5' tall. She weighs 138.00 lbs. She does not have hearing aides nor does she have false teeth. She has HF and CKD so we monitor her kidneys and measure her fluid intake and output. She currently has oxygen at 1 liter. During the morning duties, we take her weight, measure her calves and stomach, take her bp, and take her temperature. After warming her clothes in the towel warmer, she gets dressed with your help. She does morning exercises as well. She also gets AM medications. At 11:00 she starts her day by drinking her nutritional drink as her taste for solid food has diminished. Also in the morning she will do lung exercises, the incentive spirometer and the acapela. We document everything. She enjoys watching AGT and Family Feud along with our sports teams. Everyone wears a mask (we supply) covering their nose and mouth and we also supply shoe coverings or you can wear house shoes. We have cameras in the home which are monitored.
