Job Description

OhioGuidestone is hosting a special walk-in event to find dedicated Youth Care Specialists to join our growing team. Make a difference in a child's life! OhioGuidestone's residential Campus provides out-of-home care for boys and girls with complex trauma, mental health needs, academic struggles, and severe emotional and behavioral concerns, which prevent them from living safely at home. OhioGuidestone staff work with in tandem with placing agencies and caregivers to transition youth back into permanent living situations. We have full-time and part-time positions available.

Help us empower the 26,000 Ohioans we serve annually across school-based, juvenile justice, and substance use recovery programs. You can make a difference in a child's life! What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Mental Health, Social Work, Criminal Justice Youth Development or a related field is preferred. Crisis intervention training or experience highly recommended. Strong understanding of adolescent development and psychology desired. Knowledge of Trauma Informed Care preferred. 1+ years' experience working with high risk/at risk youth, corrections or mental health population required.The Rewards Full Benefits:
