Senior Advisor

Overview Provides interface between Cherokee Nation and educational institutions in establishing collaborative efforts to enhance Cherokee students access to appropriate academic pursuits. Plans and coordinates educational policies for specific subject area or grade level. Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education Administration or related field; no substitutions. Master's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

At least four (4) years of experience in a related field.

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should know Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
