Does this position pay above the required minimum?: No. The expected base pay for this position is the Stanford University required minimum for all postdoctoral scholars appointed through the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. The FY27 minimum is $79, 056. A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Quynh-Thu Le to develop inorganic nanomaterials for cancer diagnosis and therapeutics. Our research focuses on integrating nanotechnology, molecular imaging, radiotherapy, and immunotherapy to create translational platforms for improved head and neck cancer treatment. The successful candidate will work on the design and synthesis of inorganic nanoparticles for applications including: Nanomaterial-based radiosensitizers Cancer imaging and molecular diagnostics Drug delivery and immune modulation Please note that while this position will primarily be based in Dr. Quynh-Thu Le's lab, the candidate will be co-mentored by both Dr. Le and Dr. Jianghong Rao in Radiology.Required Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Nanotechnology, or related fields Strong experience in inorganic nanoparticle synthesis and characterization Hands-on expertise with techniques such as TEM, DLS, UV-Vis, HPLC, ICP-MS, SEM, XRD, or related methods A strong publication record and excellent communication skills Experience in cancer biology, molecular imaging, radiochemistry, or animal studies is a plus but not requiredRequired Application Materials:
