Job Description What You Will Do:
We are seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Manufacturing Engineer II. In this role you will develop and support technology solutions that improve manufacturing performance, reliability, and efficiency across production operations. You will partner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and IT teams to troubleshoot production issues, implement sustainable solutions, and support enterprise and operational technology systems within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment. You will do this by developing and maintaining C# applications, supporting industrial networks and Windows-based systems, delivering technical support to plant operations, and driving continuous improvement while promoting a safety-first culture and high-quality customer outcomes. This on-site position is located at our headquarters In Oak Creek, WI. You will report directly to the Senior Manager, Manufacturing & Process Engineering. How You Will Do Provide technical resources and expertise to manufacturing teams by delivering services and solutions that resolve production issues and improve operational performance. Develop, validate, and test software applications using C#. Participate in system analysis, design, and implementation activities. Apply knowledge of Windows-based PCs, virtual machines, and industrial network architectures within electro-mechanical manufacturing environments. Collaborate effectively as part of a high-performing, cross-functional team, including process engineering, design engineering, quality, and IT departments. Deliver first-tier technical support to the manufacturing organization, supporting plant operations and personnel while promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring high-quality products for customers. Lead knowledge transfer efforts and support the implementation of standards and best practices for manufacturing operational technology systems. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts to resolve issues and implement sustainable solutions in partnership with process engineering, IT, and vendors as needed. Support production through the design, development, testing, maintenance, and ongoing support of enterprise systems. Independently manage workload and priorities to ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time.
What We Look For:
Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. A minimum two years of experience in manufacturing systems support. Experience working in a Microsoft development environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively. Desired Experience providing support in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
