Job Description:

Heceta Water Peoples Utility District is looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Operator 2. Qualified candidates shall be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to pass both a pre-employment physical and pre-employment drug test, need to live within 30 minutes of the Treatment Plant to fill on-call responsibilities and have a clean driving record. Mandatory requirements include Oregon Health Authoritys Water Treatment Level 2 and Filter Endorsement and Water Distribution Level 2 certifications. Candidates must have a positive attitude and be a highly motivated individual, have a strong mechanical aptitude, and have a desire to have a long term career in public drinking water.
