Ophthalmic Technician

Prepare patients for eye exams by taking detailed medical histories and explaining procedures clearly and confidently Conduct preliminary tests such as visual acuity assessments, intraocular pressure measurements, and auto-refractions using specialized equipment Assist the eye doctor during examinations by adjusting equipment and providing support as needed Maintain accurate patient records, update charts, and ensure all documentation complies with privacy standards Clean, calibrate, and organize diagnostic tools and equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance Obtain OCT Spectralis images and perform Humphrey Visual Field testing
