Join our Retina Department as an Ophthalmic Technician and help patients protect and preserve their vision. In this fast-paced and specialized environment, you'll work alongside experienced retina specialists while building valuable clinical skills. What You'll Do Support retina specialists during patient exams, procedures, and treatments Screen and document visual acuity findings and various other ocular testing Accurately document patient history, medications, and test results Assist with refractions to help determine vision needs Educate patients on eye conditions and follow-up care Escort and assist patients throughout their visit, ensuring comfort and safety Prepare exam rooms, complete forms, and support efficient clinic flow Collaborate closely with providers and team members to deliver outstanding patient care What Makes You a Great Fit High school diploma required Previous medical or ophthalmology experience is a plus—but we're willing to train the right candidate Strong attention to detail and comfort with computers and technology Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first mindset Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment while adhering to HIPAA compliance regulations Team-oriented with the ability to work independently Professional development is encouraged, but not required Why You'll Love Working Here No weekends Gain hands-on experience in a highly specialized retina setting Work with advanced technology and skilled providers Supportive, team-focused environment Opportunity for growth in a meaningful healthcare career Work Environment This role is based within our Retina Services team, with a home clinic location and travel to satellite locations as needed.
