OR RN - Lancaster, CA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to support a healthcare facility on a 13-week travel contract. This role requires expertise in Orthopedics, Trauma, and Robotics, with a strong background in Level I or II trauma care. The position offers a fixed schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, providing an intensive yet balanced work rhythm.

Schedule:

Thursday & Friday:

6:45 AM - 7:15

PM Saturday:

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM On-call responsibilities required during weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays

Qualifications:

Valid California RN license Current BLS and ACLS certifications NIHSS certification Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, including Level I or II trauma At least 1 year of travel nursing experience Proficiency in Orthopedics, Trauma, and Robotics in the OR setting Skills checklist submission required

Responsibilities:

Deliver professional perioperative care in the Operating Room Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure procedural efficiency and patient safety Manage trauma and orthopedic cases with expertise in robotic-assisted surgeries Respond effectively to on-call duties, providing critical support when needed
