This vital role involves performing complex surgical procedures to improve patients' oral health and enhance their quality of life. As an Oral Surgeon, you will work closely with general dentists, specialists, and patients to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Your expertise in oral and maxillofacial surgery will help us provide comprehensive treatment options, from dental extractions to advanced reconstructive procedures. We are committed to supporting your professional growth and ensuring a rewarding experience in a modern, well-equipped dental clinic. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures including dental extractions, implant placements, biopsies, and jaw surgeries with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and diagnostic imaging interpretation using medical imaging technology Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient needs and clinical best practices Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental terminology standards Ensure strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are followed during all procedures to guarantee patient safety Collaborate effectively with dental assistants practicing four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow and patient comfort Educate patients on post-operative care instructions, potential risks, and recovery processes to promote optimal healing Skills Extensive knowledge of oral surgery techniques, including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics procedures Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for seamless record keeping Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards within a dental setting Experience in pediatric dentistry and working with pediatric patients is a plus for handling diverse cases Ability to perform general dentistry tasks when needed, demonstrating versatility within the clinic's scope of practice Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to addressing patient concerns and ensuring comfort throughout treatment Familiarity with medical records management, medical imaging interpretation, and adhering to HIPAA compliance standards Join us if you're passionate about transforming lives through expert surgical care!
